Surprise! Happy Anniversary Jennifer and Tad: Children’s Portrait Session.! {Laramie, WY Senior, Family, Child, Baby, Newborn, Maternity, Professional Business Portrait, Headshot, Pageant, Engagement, & Wedding Photographer. Also serving Cheyenne, Elk Mountain, Saratoga, Casper, Rawlins, Denver & Fort Collins}

I just love surprises.  Especially when it  involves my camera and people I know and love!  Jennifer and Tad are celebrating their anniversary this week so when Jennifer’s folks asked me to do portraits of Tad and Jennifer’s children, we decided to make it a surprise.  So yesterday (the day of their anniversary) I sent them their personal gallery link and this is what Jennifer had to say regarding her surprise:

“These take my breath away.  How am I ever going to decide???  How long do we have?  I love them!!!!!  Thank you SO much!”

Music to my ears! I just couldn’t get over how much these children had grown since I saw them last.  I remember the time when Jennifer was expecting her second child and I was expecting my first.  We were both huge pregnant, you know, the big waddle stage, and after a visit together we tried to give each other a hug but ended up laughing hysterically because, seriously, how do you give a pregnant lady a hug, especially when you are pregnant yourself….my arms just aren’t that long!

I had so much fun with this session.  The light was just beautiful and I love the mix of fun, silly, just-being-a-kid shots, brother/sister hug shots and the slightly whimsical, dreamy, golden sunset shots…my favorites!
